What kind of company is ACUSYS?
ACUSYS Co., Ltd. is the official Korea distributor for PMD (Performance Motion Devices) and the Korea sales partner for Portescap motors. From brushless DC, brush DC, and stepper motors to PMD's motion control ICs, digital drives, and software, you can get technical support and purchasing help locally in Korea.
How do I get a quote or check lead time?
Lead time depends on the model's stock status and production schedule, so let us know the model name and quantity you need via the Contact page and we'll confirm and get back to you. You can also add several models to the comparison tray on any spec table and inquire about all of them at once.
Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Terms vary by model and whether customization is involved. Please contact us to confirm the exact minimum order quantity.
Can a motor be customized to fit our equipment's specifications?
Yes. As noted on each product page, we support a range of customization options, including output shaft geometry, winding (voltage-speed characteristics), connectors/cabling, and integration with gearheads and encoders. Tell us your requirements and we'll review the right options with you.
How do I request a datasheet or a sample?
You can pull up a datasheet immediately via the ‘View PDF’ link on any product spec table. For sample requests, email us via the Contact page with the model name.
I'm not sure which motor fits our application.
Try our Motor Selection Guide — answer a few questions about your application, allowable diameter, and required torque, and it will recommend a matching model. If you already have a model name in mind, you can also jump straight to it using the model search at the top of the page.
Can we purchase Portescap motors and a PMD motion controller together?
Yes. Portescap and PMD are sister brands under the same group, and they've co-developed integrated solutions such as the PCR 56/06 EC SD. See the PMD Motion Control Solutions page for the ICs, drives, and software you can pair with your motor.
What's the advantage of buying through ACUSYS instead of directly from overseas?
You get technical consultation locally, and can confirm stock, lead time, and customization terms directly through ACUSYS. Exact purchase terms (payment method, shipping, etc.) are provided once you inquire with a model and quantity.
We're not familiar with how to drive or control these motors — can we get support?
PMD's Axis Wizard applies pre-tuned parameters automatically once you select your motor model from a list, and it self-diagnoses and corrects wiring or rotation-direction errors. See our PMD Motion Control Solutions page for more, or just contact us directly.
